This ‘identity’
almost decided itself - I paint flowers and people and
in May our small front garden is bursting with tulips.
It didn’t take Einstein to see that, logically,
the ideal name for it would be ‘The Tulip House’.
As for what I wanted inside the house, that, in many
ways, was the easy bit.
The houses I enjoy visiting most are the ones that offer
a choice of styles and media, so if I don’t like
one selection of art, there’s always a chance
that something else in the next room will appeal. A
good selection of tea and cakes is always a winner with
me as well!
So that’s the kind of house I want to present,
a house that is
a box of assorted artistic delights (with a side order
of cake).
And just how easy will that tasty treat be to provide?
Well, along with you, I’m about to find out...
Next week….. The
big decisions…. Which cakes to choose from Nigellas’
‘domestic goddess’ book, and looking for
artists.
