I
would love to teach glass-making on a more official level,
be it to art students or enthusiasts. However, remaining
active in the studio as well would create the perfect
balance for a working and creative life. To be paid to
tutor a subject that one feels passionate about would
be most fulfilling and financially more stabilising.
My ideal prospects for say, the next five years, might
be to teach part-time in further or higher education,
perhaps even going so far as to set up a glass course
at Brighton University. With the remainder of the time
I could concentrate on producing more indulgent sculptural
glass forms, a long-awaited continuation from my degree
shows. back
