We are particularly pleased with the online maps, (we’d like to thank one of our coders, Sam, for his help with those) which a visitor from Canada said ‘took public information maps to a new level’. Visitors came from all over the world, too, not just the UK. From the US, New Zealand, Brazil, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macedonia and Kuwait, to name but a few, the site gathered attention from a huge worldwide audience. (And if our frequent AOL visitor from Brooklyn, New York, would like to drop us a line, that would be great!)
We’d like to thank all the artists – too numerous to mention but you know who you are - who contributed house and artist profiles to the site. A warm thank you to Christina Ure, our Open House Virgin and the Outsider (who shall remain nameless!) for their time and energies.
Special thanks go to Nick Stockman at the Brighton Festival Fringe. We would also like to thank Fred Pipes, Julia Laderman, Richard Ray, Karen Laver, David Lilly, Gill Orsman, Martin Rolt and Jehane Boden Spiers, along with the Newhaven and Seven Dials Artists groups, all of whom took the time to contribute individual articles to the site. We’d finally like to thank everyone who supported us in the early stages of this site’s inception, with a special mention to Graham Hale.
We will, of course, be back next year adding new and exciting features to the site to make it an even bigger success than it was this year.
