Opening the house presents an exciting challenge in the organization, planning and presentation of work. The artists exhibiting have always known each other as friends rather than artists and designers. The Open House is an opportunity for us to get together for the first time in this way, mixing with like minded people and being part of a group.
Opening our own house will mean my partner and I can have total involvement, giving us time to enjoy different creations in our home and seeing how people respond to the work. There is also the advantage of having created the atmosphere and the set up of the house, giving our home an individual, special artistic and personal feeling to share with visitors.
