The frames for my pictures are all sorted, thank heavens! I went to a very nice man at Pendragon framers and he answered yes to the pivotal question…
‘Can you do this by the 1st of May?’
I decided on a neutral bleached wood moulding for all the paintings and the nice man is phoning me when there done. But keeping true to Rule 1 .....’Never assume anything’ I think I’ll pop in tomorrow to check progress.
I haven’t been able to get hold of Andrew Tanner as he’s in Ireland at a show and I still haven’t pinned Peter Nott down about invigilating but things are proceeding in a more satisfactory way though there is still a huge amount of stuff to do.
The kitchen is still not done and the electrician has gone AWOL. But I must say it is looking very lovely in all its pure whiteness.
