So, what is it really like
opening your house to the public? It’s like hosting
a big cocktail party, the exception being that the guests
buy the food, the crockery and the art off your walls.
And like all good parties it looks effortless and relaxed,
while in reality… no one tells you how messy your
bedroom becomes when you open your house in the festival.
It took me two days to move everything upstairs and dump
it in our bedroom. The place looks like my student days!
The downstairs looked beautiful – minimal, clean,
grown up. It looks like I always want to look like but
never can, because I have a life.
