This is my first year as part of the Kemp Town Artists
Group, last year I did open my flat to the public but
as an independent venture.
The work featured in the flat is all my own, and it
is varied in its influence and style. I create pictures
from things I have seen when travelling around the world
and also from my imagination. I can’t say that
I have any direct influences, but I visit as many exhibitions
as I can, including exhibitions by local and international
artists. Most of my work is based around landscapes
because travel is a big part of my life.
During May I will have 3 exhibitions
running:
1st - A collection of oil paintings at
Park View,
71 Preston Drive,
Brighton BN1 6LD
This exhibition is permanent, until further notice.
2nd - A collection of oil and pastel
pictures at ‘Tower Block Art (the highest exhibition
in town)’, the Open House exhibition in my flat,
at
53 Wiltshire House,
Lavender St,
Brighton BN2 1LE
7th – 29th May 2005 (weekends only)
3rd - A collection of oil paintings
showing at the
Coach House restaurant and bar,
59 Middle Street,
Brighton BN1 1AL.
4th May – 30th July 2005
I hope you can make it to one of my shows.
