Later that day came what had to be the
comment of the week. A lady was admiring my paintings
and then said:
‘I hope you don’t mind me asking but how do
you transfer your images to the canvas?’
‘By using a very small brush and oil paint.’
I’m not sure if I should be insulted or flattered!
The cake making has gone a little better this week, though
my capacity for eating it seems to have no limits (June
is the dieting month for me). I am finding it a little
strange having complete strangers in my garden eating
cake and drinking tea after the doors have shut even though
it does make me feel strangely sociable, They are, however,
always very polite when they let themselves out.
