If you haven't visited the Open Houses yet this weekend is your last chance to do so.
All those faboulous artists and potential bargains will vanish for another year.
Don't miss out, make sure you get along to the biggest, best arts exhibition in the country

Remember, Open House Online updates its content every Thursday.
We're back next week with some final observations on the Festival so come back then.

Congratulations to the Dragonfly House!

They've been nominated in the Brighton Festival Fringe awards for best Open House.
Angie Meaden-Bonnel and Marc Bonnel have been opening their house for a number of years and it has become a distinct favourite with many open house visitors because of the wide variety of art exhibited, excellent presentation and the warmth of the greeting you receive there.
Our featured artist this week, Alison Rankin is showing at the house.
You can read the article Angie wrote for us about her home by clicking here.
Angie and Marc have always been staunch supporters of our website so everyone here at Liquid 6 Image Design wishes them the very best of luck with their nomination! Find out more about the nominations by clicking here.

Fred's Diary
One of the great things about walking the trails is that you can make an entire day of it. Set off in the morning, see some art, stop for tea and cake.
See more art, stop for lunch, tea and cake.
Yet more art, punctuated by a stop for tea and cake.
Do you see a theme emerging here?

Join Fred as he recommends the best places to stop for a refreshing cuppa and the best home made cakes the trails have to offer.
Oh boy, I can see we're going to get a lot of mail about this one...

The Return of the Open House Virgin
If you ask Christina, she'll tell you that she's feeling pretty calm and everything is under control and going smoothly. If you visit her home, you'll find that to be case. However, what the public sees is not always all there is and just beneath the surface it's a different matter entirely. The 'Curse of the Jewellers' seems to have struck again with arguments, near walk-outs and lots of oil needing to be poured on troubled waters. There was a Moonwalk half-marathon to contend with as well (does that require you to walk thirteen miles in the manner of mid-80's Michael Jackson?). There's never a dull moment in an open house.
