Hello again
Goodness has it been a year?
Well I’m back, no longer a virgin, now a fully paid-up member of the notorious ‘Fiveways Artists Group’. They seem a nice lot and they definaitely have the nicest banners in town. Though it is quite expensive being with the gang…. everyone who exhibits in a Fiveways house has to pay £30, irrespective of how many artists are exhibiting. That was a bit of a surprise and seems a little harsh for those artists who don’t sell anything. As an independent house, I didn’t charge an artist if they didn’t sell. So, what have I been doing this year? Painting.
I have spent the year creating a group of ten large paintings called ‘FLESH’. The idea began during the last festival. A couple of clients came to my open house and berated me for the fact that I was only painting flowers!
