By the foot hills,
where the snow melts after winter, there were several areas
where trees grow. We saw some animals, a bat eared fox,
baboons and a Kudu (deer).
We walked up the valley to a natural swimming area where the water was ice cold.
Later that evening we walked over the hill tops overlooking Prince Albert town
and had a lovely meal in a quirky house/restaurant, The Karoo Kombuis, a charming
evening. It was so hot that Kevin and Alison slept on the veranda.
