Jewellery design now lets me work with natural materials such as fossils, semi precious stones and shells. These types of materials have always fascinated me and I see them as pieces of treasure. These treasures are combined with each other to create a truly magical and individual accessory to transform an outfit. I love this instant effect that can be created and I feel more comfortable working with the Earth’s gifts, rather than lengths of fabric and machines.

Similarly my paintings are another way that I use my creativity using a different structure. When I start a painting I think how an image on a wall can have an impact on a room. My aim is to produce works that evoke a positive emotion in people, such as happiness, well being, satisfaction and fulfilment.
