For the final article
of my South African journey, I’d like to concentrate
on two pictures specifically before showing some other pictures
that will be available to see at my exhibition.
One of the
main pictures on display is the picture of Lion’s
Head. As described in last week’s article, I like to
take several photographs of a landscape to reference on my
return to the studio. I’ve included some of those here
for you to see.
The view of the Lions Head from the famous
Table mountain was a scene I shall never forget. It was breathtaking
going up a 4 min cable car ride to the very top. You can
also walk up, but it can take as long as 3 hours of very
steep climbing to reach the top.
