Hello again. Is
it me or has everything gone grey?
I was looking at the AOH brochure and I found myself in the land of concrete
grey! I know I shouldn’t criticize and I know that to produce any brochure
is a huge amount of work, but really… in a city full of artists you think
someone would have said ‘maybe we could use a more exciting colour’.
And now I’m going to be controversial….why do all the trails listings
look the same in the brochure? If they all look the same then why have trails
at all? Ether get rid of the trails and become ‘The Brighton Open Houses’ or
give back some visual identity to the individual trails (I favour the latter).
Wouldn’t it be great to pick up an Open House Brochure where every trails
listing reflects its diversity in a blaze of colour, font and imagery not just
grey uniformity.
