And as for the ‘Brighton
Fringe’ brochure I couldn’t see the listing for
the adverts. I’ve never seen a freebee magazine look
quite so…. disposable. All in all 4 out of 10.
That’s my moan out of the way now onto how I’ve
been doing this week. Well time marches on and the sheer
enormity of what I have to do looms large. It was not a good
start when my jeweller (well I say mine) cancelled! So now
my house will be ‘unadorned’ this year and also
I cannot get my wood turner lady on the phone – gulp!.
Trying to do prints of my work is moving slowly forward.
I’ve ordered my mounts, my frames are stacked neatly
in the corner of the room and my pictures are in the process
of being printed. A very nice lady at the printers is sending
me a price for my postcards and, thankfully, gone are the
days when you had to order 500 cards of the same image to
be left with 450 to give away. Now you say exactly how many
you want and they give you a quote… I guess technology
moves on.
