So this Bank Holiday weekend, in amongst the family commitments, I sorted out the garden, removing most of the detritus. I still need to de-junk the outdoor loo and do another trip to the dump. Then the garden should be done. I had a mad idea about building a patio this week but was persuaded not to – I don’t know, some people just don’t like a challenge!

Now all I have to do now is the house… four days to go…. loads of time.
