Award winning artist
Sally McGill, will be at the studio for the first weekend,
creating a new characteristic abstract landscape. The second
weekend will be with artist/printmaker Gilly McCadden. The
demonstrations are part of the Brighton Festival Fringe and
will run during the first two weekends of May: Sat 6/7 th
and 13/14 th from 11am to 6pm .
Artizan Editions work with a number of successful artists
including Bridget Riley, Brian Rice, Geoffrey Robinson. Many
are Brighton based including John Marshall and Katty McMurray
from the seafront ‘Two Kats and a Cow’ gallery
and Richard Walker, whose two most recent serigraphs ‘Kiss,
Kiss, Kiss’ and ‘End of Pop’ have already
gone into the collection of Body Shop guru Anita Roddick.
Look out for two new works by Gary Goodman of whom art
historian and critic Norbert Lynton describes as having “the
instinctual talent of a true painter.”
Gary was placed on the short-list for this years prestigious
national Hunting Art Prizes.
