I graduated as
an architect in 1991 in Brazil and came to England to do
a Masters. The course title was Art in Architecture, held
at the University of East London and was designed to study
the interaction of public art and Architecture. For my thesis
I researched the creative process of Architects and debated
the hypothesis that an Architect’s creative process
could be more subjective, using methods such as Abstract
Art as a tool of project creation and elaboration.
I started painting to explore this process and studied
the work of the Architect William Alsop, who uses this technique
of painting as tool to investigate project creation. Since
then I haven't stop painting.
I have had a few exhibitions in restaurants, bars and galleries
such as Riverside Studios London and the response was very
good.
