Also on Sunday
morning Andrew Tanner arrived - on time - and stated he was
here until one o’clock only. NO!
This was his only invigilation shift throughout the Festival
and he was supposed to be on until five! He’d booked
lunch with his parents at two, he informed me. Blast! I was
gracious but I was annoyed. He stayed till two - no
comment.
So, in the short time I had off, me and the family went
out to look at some of the other open houses. There’s
a lot of them, lots of art chasing money.
I now know why we are so popular in the cake department -
in Florence Road cake was £2.90 a slice and tea was
extra! It’s only £1.50 for both at our place.
So in summary, it was a good weekend- we sold lots of cake
and cards, a few prints and purses and pots.
The art I can do - it’s the people that drive me
crazy
