I am passionate about still life painting and my route to this traditional genre has been a logical progression in many ways. I originally trained as a graphic designer and worked for several years in book and magazine publishing. I then began working freelance as a photographic stylist, selecting props for food photography. Much of this work was for cookery books and magazines such as Country Living and Good Housekeeping. Nearly twenty years later I am painting pictures of the very same things.
