I returned on Sunday to the good news it had got busier and that I’d sold a painting. The afternoon was good as well.

Then came ‘The sponsor’s party’ an event every Fiveways artist must hold. It being my first, I didn’t know what to expect. Well, imagine you’re back at college and you said to everyone in the student bar that you had 10 bottles of wine at your house and would anyone like to join you? Now imagine all those students 25 years older and there you have it, a sponsors party - and not a sponsors in sight.

Ah well, maybe next year…
